Antonio Mateo

My name is Antonio Mateo, I am 28 years old and I am the owner and founder of DuplexBarberia located in Barcelona, Spain, although I am from Malaga.

I have about 10 years of experience in the barbershop sector, although I am officially a women’s hairdresser, which is why I have more skill in the part of combing and using scissors. I have traveled around Spain learning from many professionals and where I learned the most about old school was in Rotterdam when I worked at NewYorkBarbershop, one of the ten best barbershops in Europe. I was the director of a barbershop near the Sagrada Familia, until 2020 when I decided that it was my moment after more than 7 years working in other barbershops… and Duplex was born.

Today, thank God, we are three barbers on the team and this year I will continue to meet my goals.
