My name is Xaver Richnavský, I’m 25 years old and I’m from Slovakia. For the past 9 years, I’ve been living my passion for barbering, a craft that has captivated me since a young age. Fascinated by the precision and creativity involved in cutting hair, I was driven to create something unique with every haircut. I started humbly, offering haircuts to friends and acquaintances either at my parent’s home or visiting clients at their homes, often for a symbolic fee.

As time went on, new opportunities emerged, and I was fortunate to land a job at a barbershop, where my skills and passion deepened. Through hard work, discipline, and a commitment to continuous improvement, I sharpened my abilities with every cut and developed a personal style that reflected my vision of barbering as an art form.
For me, barbering is far more than just a job—it’s an evolving form of self-expression and creativity, where I challenge myself to learn and grow with each passing day. Today, in addition to serving my clients, I have the privilege of sharing my knowledge and skills with the next generation of barbers. I regularly conduct workshops and training sessions in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, where I offer both beginner courses for aspiring barbers as well as advanced training for experienced professionals looking to refine their technique and stay ahead of industry trends.
My training programs focus not just on technical skills like cutting, fading, and styling, but also on understanding the importance of customer service and the latest trends in men’s grooming. I believe in hands-on learning, so my workshops are structured around live demonstrations and practical exercises, ensuring that each participant gains real-world experience under my guidance. One of my main goals as a mentor is to foster an environment of creativity and confidence, where barbers can explore their potential and perfect their craft.
Currently, I am working on opening my own barbershop and barbering academy, a place where passion meets innovation. My vision is to create a hub where aspiring barbers can not only learn the trade but also find inspiration and motivation to excel. I want to build a space where I can pass on my experiences to future barbers, encouraging them to embrace both the tradition and the evolving nature of the barbering profession.
My goal is not only to preserve the tradition of this old craft but also to combine it with modern techniques and innovations, allowing me to create something new and unique for each client.
