Emily Mckenna

Emily McKenna aka emilyj.barber is a 25-year-old barber from the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland. Emily began her career in ladies’ hairdressing and got her first job as a salon junior when she was 16. Soon after she realised barbering was where she wanted to be. Since starting barbering Emily has tried to change the mold by ensuring an inclusive and safe space for everyone who sits on the chair, as well as executing the best work.
Emily won an award for men’s stylist of the year 2022 and has been showcasing her work through different events. She has also just opened her own shop called Serpent Kings Barbershop.
Emily is a talented barber with hopes that she can work with companies in the future and hopefully gain more awards.
